Gifted - Longing for the Night

 

Clara thought she had finally found her place in the world - a foundation for highly gifted children from difficult backgrounds, a place of hope, born out of her vision. But the great responsibility she bears repeatedly pushes her to her limits. As the expectations of her sponsors and her own doubts grow, Clara realizes that she is in danger of losing herself.

Her relationship with Flo is also faltering. Clara is caught up in old fears: Will she ever be good enough - for herself, for him? Or will she remain trapped in a constant compromise in order to fit in?

But an unexpected encounter with a young girl awakens something new in Clara. Maybe it's time to break through her own barriers, light up the darkness of the night and finally find the courage to live the life she has dreamed of deep down inside.
