IN THE FRENZY OF THOUGHTS
"It wasn't the world that had to change. It was her view of herself that had to change. When Clara looked in the mirror, there was a smile for the first time - not a perfect one, but a real one."
Gifted: In the frenzy of thoughts by Stefan Radau
Gifted - In the frenzy of thoughts
Clara Lewis' life is like a puzzle with missing pieces. While her brother Lukas has seemingly effortlessly chosen the perfect path, Clara struggles with self-doubt and the constant feeling of never being enough. Her job as a graphic designer no longer fulfills her, and the constant comparison with her brother is wearing on her. In her early thirties, divorced and childless, she feels lost. But everything changes when a simple IQ test reveals a surprising truth: Clara is highly gifted.
Instead of relief, this realization only brings new questions. What could she have achieved if she had known this earlier? Would she have been able to realize her dreams instead of sinking into self-doubt? And most importantly: can she now, with this new knowledge, determine the direction of her life herself?
On her journey, Clara meets Lena, a young math student who helps her understand the complexity of her own thoughts. But the road to self-acceptance is rocky. Clara must learn to break away from her family's expectations - and perhaps, finally, find herself.
